About Delta Racing:
Delta Racing is a dynamic team of nearly 50 students from various engineering disciplines at Mannheim University. Their mission is to design, build, and race high-performance electric race cars while fostering a culture of innovation and teamwork. This year, they’re taking on an ambitious challenge: developing their first fully autonomous Formula Student race car.
Formula Student has been organized in Germany by the VDI, the Association of German Engineers, since 2006 and is also held in many other countries. It is a design competition between universities from all over the world: Students design, construct, and build a single-seater prototype of a racing car within a year.
