We’re excited to share the news that The University of Toronto Formula Racing Team (UTFR) has chosen to renew their partnership with Kenesto for another year! UTFR is a highly motivated group of engineering students dedicated to designing, building, and competing with a Formula SAE race car.

“After the discontinuation of GrabCAD, UTFR faced a significant delay in our design cycle due to the lack of a PDM system. Fortunately, we were able to seamlessly transition to Kenesto as our new PDM software, thanks to their generous sponsorship. Over the past year, Kenesto has become the backbone of our CAD file management, enabling both our mechanical and electrical teams to collaborate on a single main assembly and greatly enhancing our system integration. Kenesto’s user-friendly interface allowed us to quickly resume our design cycle, with multiple sections of our team easily adapting to the software. Without Kenesto, we wouldn’t have been able to design UT24, our second-ever running electric car. Kenesto was crucial to our season, enabling us not only to build our car but also to achieve 1st place at Formula Hybrid + Electric and 9th place at Formula SAE Electric.
